Funky Pies does not require full time supervision since all foods and ingredients are exclusively Kosher. All food preparation and service areas maintain this strict vigilance as a matter of Funky's own vegetarian and vegan ideals and principles. All proposed alterations to foods, ingredients and processes are first brought for Kosher approval.
The regimen for cleaning and removal of insects from leafy vegetables is documented and maintained by internal quality control systems that have been verified to more than satisfy Kosher requirements. These are regularly inspected and tested by our own Mashgichim, Kosher Supervisors.
